Conversion Rate Optimization in Downtown DC, DC

Conversion Rate Optimization questions
How much traffic do we need for A/B testing?
Generally, a few hundred conversions per variation over a test period is needed for reliable results. With less traffic, we focus on research-led changes and before-and-after comparisons.
How long does a test run?
Usually at least two full weeks, to cover weekday and weekend behavior, and until enough data is collected to trust the result.
What's a good conversion rate?
It varies widely by industry, traffic source, and what counts as a conversion. Your own baseline is the number to beat.
What happened to Google Optimize?
Google shut down Optimize in September 2023. We use tools such as VWO or Convert, or build tests directly into the site.
